Contract on Delivery of Radiation Monitoring Equipment
for Dukovany NPP (Czech Republic) Has Been Signed

Contract between Westron and I&C Energo a.s. (Czech Republic) has been signed on delivery and implementation of Gateways and Display Units equipment for Radiation Monitoring Systems in Vent Stack of Power Units No.1 and No.2, and in Vent Stack of Power Units No.3 and No.4, of Nuclear Power Station (NPP) “Dukovany”.

The facilities are developed on the basis of “Vulkan-M” platform that is widely applied to build the software and hardware systems purposed for NPP safety class 2&3.

I&C Energo a.s. is the tender winner, - this company is the general contractor for the works to be accomplished to reconstruct the NPP Dukovany RMS (in the part of gas aerosol effluents). The scope of works to be accomplished within the frames of the contract was agreed upon between the companies in the phase of mutual development of the tender proposals.

Delivery of RMS facilities is planned to be done in the year of 2011.

NAEK "Energoatom" Has Confirmed Westron
as Its Qualified Supplier

NAEK "Energoatom" has approved again Westron as its qualified supplier with the right to provide the development, manufacture, supply, supervision, and start-up of the following products for all Ukrainian NPPs (NAEK "Energoatom" Decision № РШ-П 0.03.081-09):

• Instrumentation and Control Systems (I&C)

• Monitoring and Control Systems software

• Electronic hardware and enclosures

The above decision of NAEK "Energoatom" is made on the basis of the successful audit of Westron performed by the NAEK "Energoatom" commission from January 12 through 13 2010 and is valid until January 20, 2013. The Westron's audit was caused by expiration of the validity of the similar NAEK "Energoatom" decision № РШ-П.0.08.073-06 of January 25, 2007.
