compliance audit of Quality Management System in Westron certified against
the ISO 9001:2008 standard has been complete. The certificate validity is
confirmed according to the audit results. The audit has been carried out by
the TUV Rheinland Ukraine specialists.

The company management has prepared a wonderful present for the staff carrying on a tradition to celebrate the Westron Day by hiking around memorable sights – on October 1-2 the excursion to the Khortytsia Island was arranged for the staff. Four big buses with “westroners” travelled a long way from Kharkiv to Zaporizhzhia to admire the beauty of the ancient stronghold of the Cossacks.
This tour was interesting both for the young “westroners” who have recently joined the company, and the “patriarchs” of the staff.

Westron Is Among the Biggest Exporters
of the Kharkiv Region

Westron is one of the biggest exporters of the Kharkiv region according to the information provided on the official website of the Kharkiv Regional Council. The export volumes have been showing a steady growth for a long time.
On September 27, 2011 during the meeting of the Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council Sergey Chernov, the Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mikhail Dobkin and Kharkiv Mayor Gennadiy Kernes with the Extraordinary and PlenipotentiaryAmbassador of the USA John Francis Tefft which was held within the Days of America in Kharkiv, the issues of long-term partnership and expansion of external trade with the Kharkiv region have been discussed.
Westron Has Participated
in the IX International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex
of Ukraine: Up-to-Date Condition and Future"

On September 20-22, 2011 Westron participated in the IX International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: Up-to-Date Condition and Future" in the city of Kiev.
At the exhibition within a framework of the forum, Westron has presented the platform "Vulkan/Vulkan-M" and the systems developed by Westron on the basis of this platform for the Nuclear Power Plants and the Thermal Power Plants. The automatic regulation system for the reactor block in a generating unit of the NPP was explicated there, and the work in different modes including diagnostics and system service opportunities when using was presented on it.
The presentation of Westron arose a keen interest among the visitors of the exhibition.
The representatives of Westron have participated in plenary sessions devoted to the Atomics Day and arranged by the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "Energoatom" within a framework of the international forum.
